Discover Trails in Your Own Backyard There are hundreds of miles of trails throughout San Diego for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. These trails can connect communities and visitors to extensive open space regional parks and often times much smaller urban canyons. This trail system is managed and maintained by Park Rangers and City planners who also work with the California Conservation Corps to construct trails for public use and enjoyment.
